Jay North, author of twenty books, hundreds of articles and over two thousand poems is living testimony that anyone with handicaps caps can overcome their personal challenges with perseverance and determination. Since childhood, Jay has heard the words can’t, won’t and dumb; but he has never let that stop him.
Jay North was held back in three levels of his education—his teachers teased him about being too stupid to learn. “This was back in the 50’s and 60’s when educators knew little or nothing about the serious challenges people faced with Dyslexia”, says North.
