Luma Lor Review Open Spaces

Jay North has the gift of storytelling, the ancient way of powerfully transmitting knowledge and wisdom through the craft of weaving tales that impact the reader or listener on a heart journey of self reunion. I have been the fortunate one to receive this treasure in his book “Open Spaces – My Life with Leonard J. Mountain Chief Blackfeet Elder, Northwest Montana”. Upon reading this heartfelt, humorous and tender story I found myself sobbing as I reconnected to my own natural roots to mother nature, the Great Spirit of love and my memories of dancing the Sacred Sun Dance with the Blackfeet many times which had positively transformed and healed me and my family. How beautifully Jay retold his experience of the wisdom from Leonard and the love that transcends all cultures and time. This message is VITAL right now, the message to seek connection with one’s TRUE SELF and connection with all beings with honor and kindness. The wisdom of the elders is given with such clarity anyone of any culture can be the beneficiary of its inspiration. The simplicity of Jay’s story, the places, the people are still with me as if I experienced them all myself with him. Thank you Jay for sharing your vulnerability and the wisdom that can never be recalled too much. I highly recommend this story and to share with all friends and family.
